Trust
Learning to trust in ourselves, finding and maintaining trusting relationships and building trust in our leadership and community are all so fundamental to our vitality and happiness. Yet, seldom do we explore the factors comprising trust or focus our intention on ways to develop trust where it is most important. Jeanne will bring her knowledge and experience from human relations group work, organizational consultation and church building to lead this interactive workshop.
Dealing Lovingly With Difference
How do we not only accept and deal with difference but embrace and cultivate its many forms?
This workshop will explore three keys areas:
- become more aware of how our group identifications (race, ethnicity, gender, age, class, etc) define us and our interactions with others
- identify some of our own “hot buttons” and become more sensitive to the “hot buttons” of others
- use “I-statements” to better speak our truth in love.
